It is the result of the study and work involvement of Gelsana, a company established in Rome on the initiative of Dr. Flavio Di Gregorio, Stefano Ferrara, master ice cream maker (awarded “Tre Coni” on Gambero Rosso food directory), and Daniele Frasca, entrepreneur.
More and more we are getting familiar to a taste of homemade, genuine food.
Perfecto® comes just like this: the discovery of delightful taste, the return to flavour from genuine ingredients. And on top of it, it’s gluten free, rich in vegetable fibres and proteins, reduced added sugars and fats, low on calorie amount; Perfecto brings back the pleasure of eating an excellent ice cream, ideal for everyone, above all for those who are celiac or intolerant to lactose.

Perfecto® is the ice cream suitable for everyone. Its ingredients – very short list in all flavours- does not contain gluten, does not contain soy, does not even contain eggs and is rich in vegetable fibres. Chocolate and Pistachio are also lactose-free, as they are made on a water-based recipe.
Currently, there is no product on the market comparable to Perfecto®. To make it stand above all, is the significant reduction in the amount of total sugar in the ice cream.
No sugar is added other than raw beet sugar from an Italian organic supply chain: no trace at all of other commonly used sugars such as glucose syrup, dextrose, maltodextrin, fructose.
Perfecto® is the artisanal genuine ice cream which comes packaged for sale.
This unique product combines the pleasure of high quality artisanal ice cream with richly distinctive values as food.
Thanks to the use of vegetable fibres (from agave leaf) sugars are effectively reduced, as well as fats and as a consequence, the total calorie amount.
And what’s more, no artificial emulsifiers nor preservatives are added.
Perfecto® was born from the endeavour and commitment to create, above all, a low calorie ice cream keeping at the same time high standards of taste, sweetness, easy to spread, also preserving the texture and smoothness of traditional ice cream, combining taste, superior standard macronutrients and functional antioxidant molecules.
Perfecto® does not contain soy protein and it is gluten-free.
